A new policy we have consists of not allowing weapons in or on the library grounds. We now have this posted in the library but if someone does bring a weapon in the local law enforcement people will be called.
Our newest policy is concerning our becoming a Hot Spot. You will need to come to the desk and sign a HotSpot Acceptable Use Policy for us. In this policy you will agree to comply with all state and federal laws and the Delaware Township Library policies and procedures. You will not use the HotSpot Network in a way that disrupts the use of the network by others. You also sign that you understand that the library staff are not allowed to configure your private computer nor porvide any troubleshooting assistance. There is no guarantee that a wireless connection to the HotSpot Network can be made or maintained. It is not a secure line either.
